Legion Launches The First AI-Powered WFM solution To Optimize Labor Efficiency And Empower Hourly Employees Through A Single Platform

Legion, the pioneer in AI-powered workforce management, today announced the launch of four new modules in the Legion WFM platform: Legion Labor Budgeting, Legion Performance and Rewards, Legion Frontline Communications, and Legion InstantPay. The addition of these platform capabilities solidifies Legion’s commitment to deliver world-class, data-driven workforce management (WFM) capabilities for better planning and execution to employers while simultaneously creating an employee experience that empowers hourly workers.

The Legion WFM platform provides companies with highly accurate forecasts, schedule automation, and actionable insights, enabling more control over labor costs and minimizing compliance risks. With the addition of the new WFM budgeting module, companies will have powerful, long-range demand forecasting and labor budgeting capabilities:

  • Legion Labor Budgeting The Legion Labor Budgeting module enables the creation of labor budgets using accurate machine learning-powered, long-term forecasts, as well as operating hours, labor models, wage rates, and other rules that are being used for weekly schedule execution. Budgets can be fine-tuned using templates and what-if models and set for automatic execution with Legion Automated Scheduling.

“We’re excited to launch these new planning and budgeting capabilities, as they will enable companies to gain deep insights and introduce even greater levels of control over their labor costs. But workforce management isn’t just about labor management and optimization,” said Sanish Mondkar, Founder and CEO of Legion. “We believe it’s also about empowering frontline workers, increasing their engagement, and turning hourly jobs into good jobs. By integrating employee-focused modules – like our new Frontline Communication, Performance and Rewards, and InstantPay – into the Legion WFM platform, we’re helping our customers create an even better experience that attracts and retains their hourly employees.”

The Legion WFM platform optimizes labor while empowering employees. The platform provides employees with more control over their schedules by making it easy to swap or pick up shifts. With the addition of the three new WFM modules, Legion further transforms the frontline employee experience by allowing employers to offer high-value benefits that aren’t typically accessible to hourly employees through the Legion WFM mobile app:

  • Legion Performance and Rewards With today’s labor shortages, attracting and motivating employees is more important than ever. Legion Performance and Rewards automatically measure employee performance and computes rewards or infraction points to provide objective measurements of an employee’s daily performance. Managers can effortlessly evaluate and reward high performers, while in-app leaderboards gamify the experience to help drive employee motivation.
  • Legion Frontline Communications According to a recent Legion study of thousands of hourly workers and managers, nearly 40 percent of those surveyed said they would leave a job due to poor communication with an employer. The new Legion Frontline Communications feature solves this problem, enabling companies to easily offer digital communications options to employees, their managers, and peers – without the compliance risks associated with off-clock access or challenges typically associated with extending email to frontline employees.
  • Legion InstantPay The new Legion InstantPay feature allows employers to easily and efficiently provide employees with access to earned wages, as well as the ability to track their earnings in real-time. By offering this feature through the Legion WFM app, which 95 percent of employees are already using regularly, companies are also able to drive schedule adherence, improved clock in / clock out behavior, and fill shifts faster by showing employees how much they’ll make for an open shift.
