Indeed India to Launch Virtual Hiring Events, an Online Way to Host Hiring Events

Indeed is planning to launch its Virtual Hiring Events platform at an online event IndeedShowcase on Thursday, 10 Dec. This virtual event will feature guest speaker Shilpa Shetty Kundra, who is partnering with Indeed to help people get jobs. The event will also take a look at hiring strategies, employer branding, and onboarding in this new virtual world of work.

No need to wake up at the crack of dawn, bring your suit to the dry cleaners, or wait in long lines to see recruiters. Pants are optional–but recommended. These are only some of the advantages of virtual hiring events for candidates. And interest has exploded as a result of the COVID-19 virus.

For recruiters, virtual hiring events are a cost-effective yet impactful way to interview a large number of candidates quickly. Costs are lower, and you can run the event over several days, giving you more time to interview candidates. Coronavirus or not, virtual hiring events sound like a win-win for both job seekers and employers.

Still, it takes work to organize, promote, and run one. Your virtual hiring event is a representation of your brand, so you want everything to run as smoothly as possible. To help organizations out, Indeed India is launching its latest product called Virtual Hiring Events which allows you to host your hiring event virtually — without the restrictions of a physical location.

Indeed’s Virtual Hiring Events is the only turn-key solution for high volume hiring which allows you to run and host your virtual interviews through telephone, on Indeed’s platform.

Reportedly, this would be one of Indeed India’s largest product launches. This virtual event will feature guest speaker Shilpa Shetty Kundra, who is partnering with Indeed to help people get jobs. The event will also take a look at hiring strategies, employer branding, and onboarding in this new virtual world of work.

Guests will get an exclusive look at the new Virtual Hiring Events product, which is set to change the way organizations hire at scale. In addition, they will also get to learn about exciting upcoming updates from Indeed in 2021.

How does the virtual Interviewing Platform Work?

Indeed Virtual Hiring Events is an end-to-end hiring solution that will automate all of the time-consuming steps of the hiring process. The product is designed to help recruiters hire in the new virtual world of work. Virtual Hiring Events is an easy-to-use, efficient, and flexible solution and takes care of everything from sourcing, screening, scheduling candidates for interviews to sending reminders. All recruiters will need to do is answer their phone!

The product promotes your event on Indeed using the same ad formats you’re used to, so you don’t have to manage ad campaigns. As your event collects RSVPs, you will receive daily updates with the list of RSVPs, their contact information, responses to screener questions, and useful links to help you get the most out of your event.

In the days leading up to the event, registered candidates will receive reminders so you don’t have to reach out on your own time. Email reminders include a link to your video conferencing or telephone interview room, as well as any technical requirements the candidate should be aware of, reducing the need for tech support on the day of the event. Done right, your virtual event can be as easy as “login and interview.”
