HR Leadership Award Winner 2021: Sarah Badawi

The Firm’s Administrator of Human Resources Sarah Badawi is the recipient of the Portland Business Journal 2021 HR Leadership Award.

“Sarah demonstrates a deep compassion for our firm family,” said Christy Doornink, Firm President. “I know that Sarah and her efforts to connect and encourage people are a significant reason why we have been able to come out of this past year with such a positive outlook.”

“I am so humbled and honored to be the recipient of such a distinguished award from Portland Business Journal,” said Sarah. “I’m proud of each and every individual that I serve every single day for their contribution to this amazing community that I am part of and that we all have the collective goal to be successful individually and ultimately together.”

Three human resources nominees from across the Portland-Metropolitan area were chosen based on organization size; Sarah was selected for the midsize company category of all companies in the Portland, Oregon, metropolitan area, not just law firms. Sarah’s nomination included testimonial letters from Firm attorneys and staff.

Sarah was honored virtually at the Portland Business Journal “HR Summit and Healthiest Employers of Oregon” program and on August 20, 2021.
