HGS to Hire 3,200 by May 2021

Having bagged some great deals and with many more in the pipeline, Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS), which is a BPO under the Hinduja Group, is all set to expand by at least 3,200 in the next six months.

Not only has HGS done well in the September quarter, but it also has many attractive projects in the pipeline for which it will require more people, in India, Canada, Jamaica, as well as the US, the UK, and the Philippines.

As of 30 Sept 2020, HGS had 235 core business-process management clients and 699 HRO/payroll processing clients.

The BPO recently did a short-term project for the UK government, pertaining to the pandemic and will soon be working on another big order, for which it is already in the process of expanding its UK team by 700 WFH roles.

The Company has been working on projects covering digital services in social care, engaging customers on social media platforms, managing online reputation, and so on. It signed deals with 17 new and existing clients for HGS Digital services — RPA, digital, analytics, and social care services). The company has reportedly signed 49 expansion opportunities with existing clients. It also added about 12 new logos for core business-process management (BPM) services and eight logos for HRO/ payroll processing.

About 24.9 percent of the Company’s workforce is in the Philippines, 1.8 percent in the US/Jamaica, 7.4 percent in Canada, and about 3.9 percent in the UK/Europe.
