Multiplier is a tech startup for human resources management that simplifies international hiring, providing companies with access to candidates across borders and managing issues of local compliance, labor contracts, payroll systems, employee benefits, and taxes.

The company also offers businesses legal infrastructure to facilitate employment in over 100 countries.

The fresh funds will be used to expand Multiplier’s operations in Asia and add more features to its platform.

Multiplier is part of Surge’s fifth cohort of 23 companies. The cohort, which is the accelerator program’s largest to date, will receive US$55 million in total funding from Surge and co-investors.
