
DB Schenker hires HR expert Katharina Rath As Its New Chief HR Officer. She also will serve as a member of the Schenker AG management board.
Levin Holle, chairman of Schenker’s supervisory board, called Rath “an internationally experienced expert in various fields of HR.”
Rath is joining DB Schenker from Continental Automotive Technologies. With Continental for almost two decades, she most recently has been the Senior VP of human relations, automotive technologies, and holistic engineering and technologies.
DB Schenker CEO Jochen Thewes said he looked forward to working with Rath, who officially joins the company on Dec. 1. “With her experience and network, she will further drive our global transformation process and will enhance DB Schenker’s position as an employer of choice in the digital age.”
Thursday’s announcement from DB Schenker said Rath will replace Thomas Schulz, who will leave the company on Oct. 31 at the end of his appointment period. Schulz led the company’s HR organization for eight years.
