Town Manager Paul Bockelman announced his appointments of a new public health director, and human resources director.

The Town Council will meet Monday, when they will act on the two appointments.

Bockelman selected Emma Dragon, a registered nurse, as health director.

“(Dragon) has a broad range of experience as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department at Cooley Dickinson Hospital, in the public school system, and with the Federal Disaster Medical Assistance Team,” Bockelman said in a memorandum to the Town Council.

He appointed Donna-Rae Kenneally as the new human resources director.

Kenneally “has been working at Western New England University as the Associate Director of Human Resources and Title IX Investigator,” he said. ” She has been with the University for the past seventeen years serving in other roles including as benefits service representative, coordinator of business and administrative services, and manager of benefits administration.”

Kenneally earned a Juris Doctor from Western New England University.
